The Boss And The Beeston Street Live at Old Woollen Farsley Friday, 01 October 2021 12PM
Full Band, Full Bruce Springsteen
The Beeston Street Band delivered a night of Springsteen splendour at the Old Woollen in Farsley, offering an emotional and exhilarating set that took the audience on a journey through joy, reflection, and unbreakable connections. Opening with the powerful anthem Ghosts, the band set the tone for a celebration of life, resilience, and the unyielding spirit of community. From the fiery energy of Prove It All Night and No Surrender to the tender introspection of Brilliant Disguise and 41 Shots, every song carried a depth that resonated deeply with the crowd. A poignant tribute came with The River, dedicated to Julie, evoking a heartfelt moment of remembrance. The band’s signature energy took over as the set ramped up with Spirit in the Night, Hungry Heart, and the euphoric groove of Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out. By the time Badlands and Glory Days hit, the room was buzzing with collective energy. The night’s climax came with a masterful performance of Jungleland, followed by the thunderous trio of Rosalita, Born to Run, and Dancing in the Dark. But the Beeston Street Band wasn’t finished yet. The encore brought the audience to its feet once more with Land of Hopes and Dreams and the bittersweet beauty of I’ll See You in My Dreams. A closing performance of Thunder Road and Bobby Jean left the crowd uplifted and full of gratitude. This was more than a gig—it was a communal experience of music’s power to connect and heal. For those lucky enough to be there, it was a night to cherish, and for everyone else, a reminder not to miss the next Beeston Street Band performance.
