Meet The Band

The Boss and The Beeston Street Band are a Leeds-based Bruce Springsteen tribute act who've been bringing the sound of the E Street Band to venues across Yorkshire and the UK since 2018. Across 32 shows they've played 116 songs from Springsteen's catalogue, from Greetings from Asbury Park through to Letter to You.

Seven musicians. Three hours. No shortcuts.

The Lineup

Darren Driver, The Boss and The Beeston Street Band

Darren Driver

Vocals, Guitar, Harmonica. The founder and frontman of The Boss and The Beeston Street Band. Darren leads every show with the kind of raw energy Springsteen is known for - three hours of singing, playing, and pulling the crowd in

Paul Jepson, The Boss and The Beeston Street Band

Paul Jepson

Guitar. "Jepo" handles lead and rhythm guitar across the full Springsteen catalogue, from the intricate picking of The River to the wall-of-sound anthems of Born in the USA.

Oly The Big O Tipper, The Boss and The Beeston Street Band

Oly The Big O Tipper

Saxophone, Vocals. Oly fills the Clarence Clemons role - the saxophone parts that define Springsteen's biggest moments. Jungleland, Born to Run, Thunder Road. He's the reason the room goes up.

Sam Levon, The Boss and The Beeston Street Band

Sam Levon

Piano, Vocals. Sam anchors the band's sound on keys, covering everything from the rolling piano of Hungry Heart to the delicate intro of The River.

Phantom Lauren Moreau, The Boss and The Beeston Street Band

Phantom Lauren Moreau

Organ, Glockenspiel, Synth, Vocals. Lauren adds the textural depth that separates a real E Street performance from a covers band - the organ swells, the glockenspiel on Tenth Avenue, the synth layers that hold it all together.

Jack Mighty Mighty Simpson, The Boss and The Beeston Street Band

Jack Mighty Mighty Simpson

Drums. Jack drives the engine room. Springsteen shows don't let up for three hours and neither does Jack.

Paul “The Tallent” Gray, The Boss and The Beeston Street Band

Paul “The Tallent” Gray

Bass, Vocals. Named for Garry W Tallent, Paul holds the low end through every set - the heartbeat underneath Thunder Road, the pulse of Dancing in the Dark
